Special Deeds for Special Needs

 

Tata Interactive Systems runs the marathon 2009.

On January 18, 2009, Tata Interactive Systems (TIS) once again celebrated team spirit by participating in the sixth annual Mumbai Marathon. This year the participating TISians were seen sporting T-shirts promoting the message "Together Let’s Define the Future," and even carried a banner spreading awareness of the cause.

TIS has been running the marathon for four consecutive years in support of students with learning disabilities—extending its initiatives beyond schools and the teaching community. The previous TLDF, held in December 2008, underlined the need for concrete action to enable LD students to achieve their true potential.
